Quickie!

Hey cuties! I am checking in here real super quick for two things...

First, I've got more stuff for sale! Check out the "for sale" tab above and see if there are some things you just can't live without! I know a couple people have emailed me about my trellis pillows in the past and I've finally decided to part ways with them. They need a good home and I'd love for a blogger to get them. : )

Second, I'm heading out to the marvelous Chi-town this afternoon with two of my pretty friends!

Photobucket

I am excited to visit some fun places, take pictures, have hours of good conversation and silly laughs, and of course go shopping!!! Is there any place you guys recommend we visit? We've got a solid two days there and we want to make the most of it! : )

Have a great weekend!! Love you guys!

xoxo

The Merchandise Mart is an awesome interior design center. And lake front Segway tours are uber fun (Bike & Roll Chicago is good - they're at Millennium Park). The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend - have fun!

Hey Joi-

I have been following your blog for a while, and have meant to introduce myself. In high school I used to work for Dave's dad at EAIA, and my mom met you a few months ago at a Blues game and told me about your blog.

I live in Chicago, and couldn't help but give my two cents. For good neighborhood shopping, Bucktown and Wicker Park are a must. These two places are just west of downtown and neighbor each other. Stores range from pricy boutiques to thrift stores.

If you are more interested in big name designers and chain stores, Michigan Avenue or State Street downtown is your best bet.

Have fun!
