Maw Maw's PET scan results came back negative!

Heck yes! We are all so excited and are ready to kick this cancer in the butt for good! Since the scan was clear, the doctor suggested 4-6 rounds of chemotherapy, then radiation treatments, and finally she will have to take a pill for 5 years. While all of this sounds like a lot, it is definitely treatable and curable! Maw Maw is in great spirits and appreciates all the love and support! We are all so happy with the test results. She goes in next week (most likely) to get a port inserted into her chest where they will administer chemo, on the 16th we have our chemotherapy school session, and then on May 21st she will have her first treatment. The doctor said she will most likely lose all of her hair (and she is fine with that) and she may get really tired. But, he hopes that she wont get too sick and will make it through everything just fine because of how strong she is : ).
