Do It Yourself!

We were at Super-Valu the other day, and as I casually strolled past the magazine rack, the July 2008 edition of 'Do it Yourself' caught my eye with its fun colors on the front. Now, I have never, ever purchased this magazine before, but I am soooo in love with this issue.

As I sat down to read it, I was a tad reluctant that the magazine would be little more than glorified advertisements page after page....but I promise you, it was so much more. Little did I know, this magazine would have so many fun ideas!!!! I literally was ooooh & ahhh-ing after every page--I got so giddy!

I am so pumped about the first 'project' {that I'm going to post about} because it looks super easy--even if you're not a 'do-it-yourselfer'! It involves taking five cement pavers and gluing them together with landscape block adhesive to form a pot. The end product looks like a modern plant holder! Now, I scanned the images, and it looks like you may not be able to read the instructions very well, but if you save the images, I'm sure you could magnify them in some computer program!
