I Gave In

Remember how I posted about that gorgeous desk I didn't need from World Market?

I know, how could you forget? He was a stunner.

Given the title of the post I am sure you can assume that Mr. Desk made his way home with me this weekend. My sweet hubby put him together {scandalous!} and now he's living large in our eclectic office.

He is suh-weet!

Oh snap! I just realized that "he" is really a "she." The desk's name is Josephine...hmmm, Josephine...Joi, coincidence!? I think not.

It was fate. For sure.

I just found your blog last night and fell in love!!! The funny thing is i was trying to talk my husband into that same desk this past weekend. I am still working but he is in a no spending mood. I love the silver poofs, where are they from? Thanks for all the inspiration.

So beautiful and worth the "unnecessary" purchase since your other desk was a hand-me-down, no? Looks great with the chair also, perfect height. Do you actually blog from that desk?

It'd say it's totally perfect for the space. Especially ensconced by those great chevron curtains. Can I ask about the cushions on your couch? Are they pillows layered on top of back cushions, or are there no back cushions?

I think there are different levels on need.

For example, you had a desk so you didn't NEED a new one but you did NEED one that you loved more than the other. I'm all about justifying!

Gosh I love this room of yours. You say it is an office. Do you really use it as an office? Is it more of an extra sitting area? I have a room I call 'the den' where of course no one ever sits or really goes into. It feels like such wasted space sometimes. Anywho, just wondering out loud! :)

I copied you! Thanks for the inspiration to paint my office chair not-so-mellow-yellow. Mine isn't as cute as yours, but I love it. Please check out my post when you get a sec. Thanks!
