It's Time For Some Soup!

With cold temperatures here to stay, I am now officially back into my oatmeal and soup eating kick. It happens every single winter and it's definitely something I look forward to! Oatmeal for lunch and soup for dinner. Yum, yum.

One of my all-time favorite meals is Tomato Soup + Grilled Cheese. I absolutely could eat this every single day during the winter months. Call me a five year old and that's ok. My taste buds never seemed to change. Weird? Maybe. I don't know. I used to be a Campbell's Tomato Soup girl but not anymore. My horizons have been broadened and I am so, so, SO happy about it!

I am now addicted to this Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup and I'm not looking back!

I randomly picked up a can of it to try in World Market the other night and now I am hooked. It is seriously so creamy and delicious and from what I read online it's gluten free. Extra bonus, I guess? Supposedly this stuff is hard to find since it's a UK product. I hope World Market continues to carry it because I'm addicted. The only downfall is the price. It's nearly $3 a can! Good thing this is only a wintertime addiction.

I didn't think I could talk that much about tomato soup, but there ya go! You must try it if you love tomato soup as much as I do. You will LOVE it. Promise.

Oh, and you know what else I love at this time of year? These super fantastically yummy suckers from See's Candies. I just can't get enough of the chocolate ones.

I may or may not have bought 30 for myself this weekend. Hehe.

xoxo

Yum! :) I am not a HUGE tomato soup fan but I might like the creamy kind if I could find it! I've been making a few soups here and there, too. Total comfort food.

I love Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese during the winter too! One of my faves! I'll have to keep an eye out for the Heinz soup... I'm a big fan of the V8 vine ripened tomatio & roasted red pepper soup as well. So yummy!

YES! You HAVE to come to Hawaii so we can eat tomato soup and grilled cheese together! (Okay, it might be too hot for that but I'm used to eating winter foods in the heat now).

Safeway has an amazing tomato and roasted red pepper bisque. You've gotta try it if you have one near you. It's perfectly creamy with a little bit of spice to it. It's my fave tomato soup now.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of my fave meals year round! In fact, it sounds really yummy for dinner tonight! :) Thanks for the tip on the soup. I live a block away from a World Market so I'll have to see if it's in stock.

I can't wait to try the Heinz's tomato soup! Yumm! During colder months, we make gumbo, chili, casseroles, etc. Lots of warm comfort food!

I've been looking for a new tomato soup, because I'm not really into Campbell's. This looks so good, but unfortunately, our World Market is on the complete opposite side of town and I don't get there very often. Maybe I need to make a special trip, though!

I love World Market - they have the most off the wall items. I'll have to try that. There is nothing better than grilled cheese and tomato soup.

They just sent me $10 reward coupon for my birthday. I got a Rabbit Wine pourer - such a happy camper!
