Decking Our Halls

This year I finally bit the bullet and ordered a white Christmas tree.

Photobucket

It's something I've always wanted and I am so happy I brought myself to order it. It's quite a bit larger than our previous tree and we almost didn't think we'd have room for it as we started putting it together.

I started to panic just a little and then it turned into nervous laughter. Dave didn't help because he was convinced it was going to be too tall, as well. Uh.oh.

But, after all was said and done, it fit snugly between our two chairs.

Phew.

Crisis averted and all is well in the NVD house.

Right now the tree has pink, silver, and white ornaments on it and I am really digging it. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but most things I like aren't, and that's ok. : D

Take a little peak at our living room all Christmased up! Are you all decorated yet?

I LOVE your white Christmas tree! It is gorgeous! :) Our halls are decked- 2 trees this year put lit garland all above the kitchen cupboards. It added so much light in our kitchen that we might just leave it up there!

It looks amazing Joi! So glad that it fit so perfectly. We got our tree home on the weekend (we cut a real one each year) only to find out it was at least a foot too tall, so we were sawing in the kitchen. That wasn't very fun to clean up :)

Isn't Christmas all about what makes YOU feel festive!! Glad you went for what you wanted, the white tree looks fab. :) We're partially decorated, and at this rate it might stay that way for awhile - eek!

It is so, so beautiful!! I am in love! I've been wanting a white tree, but didn't know if I'd come to regret it. Walmart has one for $38 I've been debating getting.. It's cheap enough that I could never use it again if that's what I wanted.

I love it, Joi. Just lovely. I really miss my white tree that was broken last year. Maybe I need to find another after Christmas.

I have been loving white Christmas trees lately! I love the glow that they bring when they are lit up. So pretty.
As far as our decorating, we have everything up except the tree, which will go up after Cameron's party this weekend. We don't have much space for 30 kids/adults to mingle, so we figured we'll wait to put it up so it doesn't come crashing down with all those people.

It's outside the box, but I love it! You were my inspiration for the diy wreath I made. Not the one with tinsel, but the one with yarn. You gave me the motivation chica to actually do it! Joi come to my house and make it pretty por favor :)

Oh sister! It's definitely my cup of tea! I love a white Christmas tree and don't know that I will be able to own anything else. I am so wanting to add some pink to my blue and silver color scheme. Just haven't found any pink ornaments I love.
