Fun Find: Thrift Store Trivet

I guess my blog is becoming mostly fun finds here lately! : ) The other day on my usual weekly thrift store outing I scored the absolute sweetest item: a Home Sweet Home trivet! It had me at hello with its heart shape and endearing words. And, the imagery reminds me so much of how I used to draw my house and trees when I was a kid. I never mastered the picket fence but it looks lovely here!

I thought about spray painting it and hanging it somewhere, but for now, it sits happily on our countertop! This $1 purchase makes me smile a lot!
