Texas Size Fun

I had the best time the past couple of days! I got the most wonderful chance to visit my best friend since high school for the weekend. She's a super successful engineer and does things way over my head at work everyday and has a great life in Houston. I miss her like crazy and haven't been able to visit since 4 years ago when we moved her down there. She is the ying to my yang and while we couldn't be more opposite, we make it work. Think Paula Abdul and the dancing cat video, and that song pretty much sums us up--haha!

She and our friend from high school, Tony, live together in a nice big home with the sweetest adopted dog you will ever meet.

Bosley stole my heart from the minute I laid eyes on him. He does the cutest little lift of his paw when he wanted attention and I gave in every single time.

I didn't take nearly as many photos as I would've liked, but I managed to enjoy my time even so. We got to eat out at a wonderful tapas restaurant called Mi Luna, which had delicious food, probably some of my most favorite entrees I've ever had---yup, that good!

We also got to take in a Latin music concert {where Sarah's friend's son, the little guy in red, performed with a Latin Grammy winner!}, a trip to Ikea, grilling out with friends, shopping at outdoor fancy malls and outlet malls, and a pedicure too.

Probably the most exciting time was attending Miss. Britney Spears' concert. Our tickets were crazy good and I had the time of my life.

I have pictures and video as evidence of this unbelievable night, but Sarah has yet to post them! Don't worry, when she gets around to it, I will definitely share the goods with all of you!!!! Britney did not sing a single part of her concert live, but she without a doubt put on a fabulous show. She really embraced her circus theme with acrobats, magicians, fire, clowns, etc.! As an audience member, you never knew what to expect next! I was so engaged the entire time and knew every word to every song---it was seriously one of the best nights of my life {don't judge!}.

Even with the fun times, I am beyond tired and am happy to be back home with my two boys ♥

We barely missed eachother! I was in Dallas with my girls for the concert! It was amazing! The Marilyn Manson part was my favorite, which is odd since it was just a video! Glad you had fun!

I'm glad you had a good time. I love Mi Luna! Isn't it delicious? Did you get to do any design shopping? What part of town does your friend live in?
