The Grease Trio

Halloween was a hit around these parts!I had a blast preparing Theron's, David's and my costume for the big day.

We had originally planned on Theron being something truck related [since he's obsessed] but one night I was perusing a magazine and saw a T-bird costume and I changed my mind that second.

We all call him "T" so it really was a no-brainer. I bought a leather jacket at Burlington, some skinny jeans at Old Navy and some Converse from Kohl's.  I was lucky enough to find a women's pleather jacket at the Goodwill for David [such a trooper!] and scored a pink button down at Kohl's for me.

I painted the T-Bird logo on T and D's jackets and cut out felt for the Pink Ladies logo on mine. Both were time consuming but worth it!

We had lots of rain the day of, so our little town postponed trick-or-treating til the 1st.  Good move, H-town!

Theron didn't quite understand the whole she-bang but was a cutie nonetheless. We quickly found out that Halloween is done differently in our new neighborhood.

People have garage and driveway parties with games, fire pits, and tons of food.  One home was even showing an outdoor movie.

Theron's favorite spot was this witch hat ring toss.  He wasn't too happy when we had to leave.  It's a rough life, buddy.

We handed out candy til we ran out [at our old house we never even had 1 trick-or-treater!] and I made mental notes to do things their way next year.  To say I am excited is an understatement.  I can't wait to have a party with our family and hand out candy to all the little cuties!

This makes me even happier to live in our new neighborhood!

I hope your Halloween was just as fun.  I had a blast seeing all of the Instagram pics.

xoxo
