Hey guys. Happy Friday! Thanks for the blog design suggestions on my last post. I did some clean-up around here with my links and layout last night and I think I'm going to go with Designer Blogs. I don't want anything super custom so I hope it will be done sooner than later.
Recently my mom and grandparents made a trip up near Chicago for a cousin's grad party and you know what that means...my mom stopped by IKEA for me. : ) She grabbed me some faux sheepskin rugs and the classic black and white throw.
I put two of the of rugs in our bedroom on either side. It's kinda weird to see our bed made because I don't think it's been made more than twice since our baby boy was born. Oops.
Our bedroom has gone through so many rugs because two certain doggies like to use them as their potty place. Seriously. Our dogs are potty trained. Why the heck they continue to go in the house baffles me. It drives David and I near the brink of insanity. It's a good thing they're cute, otherwise...haha!
I've shared pics of our bedroom before but I've never shared the long dresser with the TV on it. I've never finished that area and I just don't know what to do. I thought about mounting the TV or putting a gallery wall behind it but I've done neither one. Oh, and please ignore our orange wood floors. That's the one regret I have when we purchased this little house. I so wish I would've had the floors refinished before we moved in any furniture. Oh well--you live and learn.
Any thoughts? I'm really leaning towards a gallery wall since I got rid of the one in the living room with our new sofa setup. I can't wait to share those updates soon.
Have a good weekend, friends.
xoxo

I love the gallery wall idea! A mixed collection of mirrors could be fun too!
The mirror in the last picture is gorgeous!
Love it! Your room looks so cozy and inviting!
I haven't seen those nightstands before....I must be on the late show, but they are AMAZING! Love.
Your bedroom is stunning, Joi. Love the bed, and I love that mirror! Personally, I think that the wall with the long dresser looks great, as is. It doesn't look undone or not finished to me at all. I'd maybe mount the T.V? Regardless of what you do choose, I'm positive you'll make it look smashing! :) I'm glad you're back and doing well!
You could do both couldn't you?(mount the TV and make it blend in with the gallery wall?)Regardless of what you choose to do, I love your bedroom.
It looks so grown up and peaceful in there.
Love how the room is looking! Especially with those cozy sheepskins. And the idea of a mounted TV blended with gallery wall is intriguing...
I love your bedroom so much. So layered and put together and luxurious. And I love the gallery wall idea.
My tv and dresser look the same as yours so I can't wait to see what you do so I can copy. I must say I'm already tired of gallery walls but I'm sure if you do it-you'll put a fresh new spin on it. No pressure :) Love your style. Love that you're back. Are you teaching this year?
Love your room! So so pretty!

I know this is a silly question (the answer is probably "outside") but where did you find the large branch that is in your bedroom and you have jewelry hanging from? Thank you sooo much!
