Two weekends ago we had absolutely gorgeous weather so we decided to spend the day gallivanting around town. David and I lunched with our best friend and did some shopping {as did the rest of the world--I haven't seen that area so busy since Christmastime!} afterward.
We stopped into
Pier 1 and I snapped some pics of things that caught my eye. I only picked up one gift for a dear friend who is most likely the cutest pregnant lady ever. I can't wait to send it her way for her soon-to-come baby boy. Once I mail it, and she gets it, I'll post a pic. It's adorable, promise.
As I was perusing the store these coasters jumped out at me. I like the design, but I like even more the option to pick and choose the quantity and colors for yourself. Brilliant, Pier 1!
I really liked this tray and snapped a pic for my sister-in-law. She and her husband just closed on their new home and I thought this would be perfect for their living room ottoman!
Owls, elephants, and birds make me happy....even in salt and pepper shaker form. : )
I love this headboard and it's on sale for $99! Someone has to snag this one. You know my love for bamboo! Of course, I think it'd be more fun painted a fun color!
Loving this floral lamp so much! It was too expensive for my tastes and I was not a fan of the shade, but I couldn't help but fall in love with the pattern. Waiting for a supersale...
I saw this rug and immediately I loved the floral pattern. But I really liked it for my sister and brother in law's new place! What do you think, Em? A new kitchen rug perhaps? ; )
Last but not least, I fell in love with this mirror. I didn't happen to see a pricetag, and I definitely did not need it, but I'm hoping someone I know picks it up. It's a beaut!
Oh, and not a Pier 1 find, but I did snag a pair of never-worn shoes at the Goodwill for $6! I've already worn them twice and I love them. Sweet!
