Master Bedroom Update

The master bedroom is coming right along. We got our new duvet cover from West Elm a few weeks ago along with our Euro shams and white matelasse standard shams. We had the same duvet years ago in an off-white and really liked it. We like it even more now because inserting the actual duvet is a lot easier. Our down comforter has little loops on all four corner and the cover has ties on all four corners which allows the comforter to not move around at all! It's a nice detail that makes the task of inserting the comforter into the cover a trillion times easier! : )

The only thing I really need to do now is sew the long bolster pillow cover to go in front of the shams. Considering I'm not a sewer, this might take awhile. My mom's been too sick to help but when she gets better, she's my go-to lady!

We may also add a TV back into the bedroom along with a couple of x benches. However, there are a lot of other things on our to-do/to-buy list with a little guy on the way. : )

Decorating our house is a never-ending journey, but I really like it that way. : )

Wow Joi, your room looks fabulous! I didn't think it could get any better but you keep topping yourself. I hope you're feeling better now.

Would you mind talking about where you got your bed? looks great and very much CB Colette bed. I'm in the market so I'd love to know. Thanks!

Beautiful! I can't stop drooling over your Colette look-alike bed. It complements the framed chinoiserie fabric perfectly. So gorgeous!

Always loved your pintuck bedding. I buckled & bought a similar duvet at Target. Our MBR might look like your MBR's not-so-pretty sibling. HA!

(BTW, can't wait to see your nursery plans. Love what I see on Pinterest so far.)

Congratulations on baby! So exciting! I love your master br....I have a similar duvet and love it. I'm loving your lamps - were those a craigslist find or did you purchase them from a store? I want a pair! :)

It's lovely! I'm jealous that you have a house where you can have a white duvet cover. Mine would be filthy within minutes.
