They Say It's My Birthday...

Well hey there strangers. I abandoned you again this week. I know, I said I wouldn't do it and I did. Dang. I think about the blog every single day and still read as many of my favs that I can fit into 25 minutes during my lunch hour. I'm a busy little bee but I have not completely fallen off the earth just yet. My comeback is just around the corner...haha.

Today is my 29th birthday, can you believe it? I have a feeling 29 is going to be a great year.

To say I'm starting the last year of my twenties feels so surreal. I feel like I'm exactly where I thought I would be 10 years ago and that's a pretty fun thing to realize. I'm a pretty predictable person and that's a-ok with me.

Some random updates {since that's all I seem to be good for lately} are coming at you right now...

Last weekend we got to puppy-sit this little furball. His name is Isaac and he's our lovable puppy nephew.

By the end of the weekend Scoutie Bear kinda-sorta liked him. She's a tough critic I tell ya.

Just a little side-note, Scoutie Bear is obsessed with that octopus toy you see in the pic. She takes it to bed, outside, and all around the house with her. She gets frantic if she misplaces it and loves it like her baby. She is one funny pup. Dave recently taught her how to play fetch with it and now she's also obsessed with that. She'll sit and bark at us until we throw it over and over and well, over again!

The other day I purchased a great watercolor on Etsy from Lona de Anna. She Australian and I only had to wait a short little while for the print to arrive at my doorstep.

I framed it using a standard Target frame and it's waiting to be hung in our office. Pictures to come someday! I am digging the saturated colors that will fit perfectly into our small office space.

And lastly, our bed finally came and I love it, but as you can probably guess, I haven't had the ideal light to take pics. I'm hoping to snap some this week and post them next week.
