Fun Finds: TJ Maxx/Marshall's Style

The other day I got to shop for a few hours all by myself. That hardly ever happens and it was quite a nice little shift from the usual! I got to try on all the clothes I wanted and actually looked with a purpose at the clothing section of TJ Maxx and Marshall's.

Most times it is too overwhelming for me and I skip it all together so that the person {most likely David ; )} who I am with doesn't get even more bored--haha.

I did pick up a couple of cute items for summer and managed to save some pennies while I was at it!

I got this little sheer tank and fun sun dress for less than thirty bucks! I really like the cut of the sundress because it is super flattering. There were more colors and I almost added those to my basket but I exhibited some self control. It does happen from time to time.

I was super happy to pick up these square toed leopard print flats by Jessica Simpson.

My leopard obsession is still going strong and these are sure to make all of my outfits just a little more fun! And, since Scoutie Bear loves chewing on my current pair of leopard flats it was definitely time for a replacement. It's funny because she doesn't bother any of my other shoes so Dave and I joke that she must be a fan of leopard prints, too! Plus, the square toe makes me feel like I'm wearing pointe shoes....I never did get that far in ballet. Sorry, mom!

The thank you cards had me at hello with their vintage vibe floral print and for $1.99 I couldn't pass them up!

So tell me....are you a TJ Maxx/Marshall's fan? Or does the thought of rummaging through all those racks make you nervous?? ; )

xoxo

Love the flats!! I like to shop at those stores but only when I have the patience/time. It's hit or miss so you have to be ready to accept defeat lol

It is so overwhelming. You have to REALLY be in the mood to dig. I did get an amazing clover cutout grey ceramic vase the last time I went. it's glorious!

Yep, love them both, but I only shop for home related items. I dont have the patience to rummage through tons of clothing...I think I make about five minutes then I'm done LOL.

LOVE Marshall's! That tank is precious!

I spend way too much money there! I used to live near one, so I didn't mind going often because you don't always find things...but more often than not, I do!

I can't handle going through all the racks, but I always check the shoe and home sections. A few weeks ago, I bought a $320 suitcase at Marshall's for $15! Yes, you read that right-- $15!

Good trip! I love TJs but don't get there super often since I am not that close. I should make an effort to get there more!!

Yet another reason why we need to shop together! I just get overwhelmed rifling thru those racks & when I do they never have the size I want! Will you be my stylist?

'K thanks, J, loves ya. =]

I do enjoy those stores in the instances where I actually can find something :) it IS overwhelming...we have a "strip mall" type place here in Cincinnati that has marshall's, tj maxx, homegoods, and nordstrom rack all in one place. it's heaven (when I am patient).

I totally meant to ask you the other day where you got your shoes! They're sooo cute - love them! Great meeting you - I'm a little shy in person - takes me a little while to warm up so I hope I wasn't too awkward ;)
Hope we get to do it again sometime!
