So, while I only have a couple minutes before bed I'll share with you guys some highlights {albeit camera phone lovelies} from the weekend. Ready? Ok, let's do this like they do speed dating.
And we're off...
Friday after school I met up with my best friend, who just recently moved back home after being in Texas for 5+ years, and my husband for la comida mexicana. We had lovely conversation and then after dinner made a pit stop at Target.
I came for one thing only and I left with well, that one thing plus the usual 5 or so items I'm sure we don't need. You're such a charmer, Target!
The pillow is navy blue and a complete trellis knock off and I love it. It's about $15 in the garden section. Go now, friends. ; )
{And yes, that's Scoutie bear chewing on a lone leg from one of her stuffed animals...silly doggie!}
I prepared a little on Friday night for the Working Women's Show and then on Saturday morning we made our way over to St. Charles.
We stayed about 6 hours and my little presentation went fabulous. People took my blog cards! I know, right? I couldn't believe it, either!
We saw Clinton Kelly--he was lovely in person! Not nearly as blurry--haha!
We were exhausted after the show but made a pit stop to see my sister and brother in law all moved in to their new home! Congrats, guys! Dave and I had a quick meal at KFC and I settled in for some DVR'd episodes of American Idol! P.S. I liked Jacee and that cute little blonde at the beginning. Oh well, you Idol judges always think you know more than me. Hhmph!
On Sunday we were up early again and headed out to the show for the last presentation. 98% of the audience was either my family or friends and I just loved seeing all of the support. You guys blow me away with your kindness. I am one lucky girl!
I was able to scoop up this cute little recycled clutch made out of candy wrappers...how green of me?
I liked it because it reminded me of chevron. Yes please!
Before we left, the kind ladies from the Goodwill gifted me with a bouquet of flowers and an Outback giftcard as a token of their appreciation.
How sweet!
That my friends, is my recap.
xoxo

Congrats on the workshop! Awesome! By the way, I pulled those pillows off the Target shelf too! But actually put it back b/c I was scared it was too rough as an outdoor pillow. Has it been comfortable?!
