I'm a smidge behind in posting my new year's resolutions, but better late than never. I usually make a couple resolutions and this year is no exception. To hold myself accountable I thought I'd give ya'll a little peek.
1. This year I must take care of my body. I making it a big priority to actually go to the doctor. You know, getting an eye exam {my eyes are getting so bad} and going to the dentist shouldn't be hard things to manage, but they are things I haven't put at the top of my list in the past. This year, I am going to change that.
2. Stop being so judgmental. Whether it's just in my thoughts or saying those thoughts aloud, I want to make myself remember that everyone is facing a battle I may not know about. I feel like I'm a kind person, but I want to strive to be even kinder. I know I can do it.
3. Set up a business plan, for real. I've received quite a few inquiries about offering design services {who would've thought?} and I want to open either an Etsy store or have a page on my blog where people can buy my thrifting finds. I want to make both opportunities happen and 2011 looks like just the year for it.
4. Remember to always show my gratitude and tell people how much I love them. That's really important to me.
Thanks for letting me share, everybody. Have a stupendous weekend, friends. Any resolutions you want to share? Send me that way and I'll take a peek at yours!
xoxo

I love these goals!!
Those are wonderful goals and your first one is on my priority list also. I'm participating in Ali Edward's "one little word" challenge this year and my word is "action". I've resolved to stop procrastinating and get things done this year - including home projects, personal goals, and work goals. :)
great resolutions girl! you really should open a shop or something-you have got mad talent~
GREAT goals Joi! I got a jump start on my New Years resolution of getting fitter instead of fatter on November 1st and so far I've lost 16lbs and 12.75" and I couldn't be happier!
I plan on continuing this fitness journey as well as continuing to grow my blog throughout the rest of 2011!
I love that poster. Good luck in the new year!
Those are great resolutions Joi! #2 is a big one for me to!
I could go on all day about your resolutions. I am on the same page with you on so many of them. I really think you should make that business plan. I am all about doing a craft show this year. I need to stop putting it off and jump in. If you do ever have an etsy site...I would be honored for you to put an ad on my blog {free of charge for you my dearest}.
Here is to making 2011 even more special.
Cheers~

Great goals, Joi. All important and doable. Good luck!
These are definitely doable! :) Best of luck!
Joi, these are such great goals! I love how intentional they are.
I usually don't make resolutions for the new year, but this year I decided that if I wrote them and posted them I would have to follow through!I came up with 26 of them (since I will be turning 26 this year). You can find them here: http://tw0.us/RJK

These are great! I agree about the judgemental thing. I waste WAY too much energy worrying about other people it seems! Design services would be great! I'd pay you to help redesign my living room for sure :-)
