Happy Hump Day folks! This week has been absolutley fabulous thus far! It's Spring Break and David and I are enjoying it to the fullest. Yesterday we hit the zoo, had lunch+icecream, and took the doggies on a wonderfully long walk. We watched Inglorious Basterds {which I loved!} and are having fun watching DVR'd episodes of Idol and The Office.

But, I digress...back to Austin's craigslist to hunt for cheap but awesome dining tables and other fun treasures!

Office Switcharoo

For some reason I wasn't totally committed to the loveseat on the wall under the mirror. I felt like the credenza and lamps would suit the mirror much better and I think I was right.

Oh, and a couple of you asked where I scored the silver poufs in the last post...well, they came straight from Egypt via this seller. I was a little apprehensive but they were shipped very fast and look great. I am well aware that they are faux leather but I wanted the look not necessarily the feel. My tastes change so $200 per pouf was not on my agenda.

Next up for this room {who knows when!} will be this light fixture. I've loved it forever and someday it will be mine! : )

Office New Additions

We scored this great little tufted loveseat {from the sweetest lady} this weekend off of craiglist and the poufs were an eBay purchase awhile back.

The office is still undergoing some changes but I love the direction it's headed. When I look at that photo I smile at how far my taste has evolved.

Chair Twin!

I spied this fabulous chair makeover here, via here! In my opinion you just can't go wrong with a little {or alot} Chiang Mai fabric.

She said she picked it up at Home Goods and what do you know, it's an exact replica of two of the same ones sitting in our living room from Overstock.

Her's painted all white with that fabric gives me some backburner ideas if ever I tire of ours the way they look now. : )

Beauty Post: MAC Lipstick

I fluctuate between stalking beauty blogs and watching youtube tutorials, to not giving a lick about makeup! Sometimes I have so many items in my Sephora cart that I'm convinced I will never have enough money to ever purchase and other times I'd be just as content to buy makeup from Target for the rest of my days. Weird, maybe? Who knows!

But anyhow, I did just recently buy my first tube of MAC lipstick after seeing it on numerous beauty blogs. I love its super pink and girly shade and think it's pretty great. Now I did find a Rimmel color at Walgreens for less than 1/2 the price that I think I like just as much--but that is saved for another post.

My MAC shade of choice is called "Snob"--not at all representative of my personality I promise!

Of course ya'll may remember my difficulty with self portraits, right? Well I really tried this time and still managed to look goofy and blurry. I'll get better someday. Please wait for me! : )
