A Little Precursor To Nate

I have got so many great things going on in my life right now that I never stop smiling! I mean, I have always been a joyful and grateful person, but lately my blessings have been overwhelmingly unbelievable and I have my family, friends, blog readers, and God to thank. My passion for decorating and blogging is taking me places I only dreamed of...and I am as giddy as a little kid.

I think you all know about the Nate Show appearance coming up this Thursday, right?

And, my home's about to be featured in St. Louis magazine in a couple weeks!

Yeah, that's a whole lot of crazy.

I still don't believe it either. I'm just an average gal in her {ah-hem late} twenties who loves attainable design...who would've thought?

I also had the lovely opportunity to give a home tour to a fabulous local St. Louis designer, Dana King, who is featuring it as a series on her blog. We are planning to work together on events in the future and I will definitely share those as they get closer. I am so fortunate to have made a friend in her. She's a natural behind and in front of the camera! : )

Her first video of our home: my guest room! And as a side note, this it what I wanted to wear on Nate, but they had me change. Poo. I liked it a lot.

As the days near closer, I'm extremely nervous to see my mug on TV this Thursday and I hope I don't look like too big of a goof. I guess you all will be the judge. Go easy on me, please.

Oh, and all you St. Louis readers make sure to tune in to Great Day St. Louis {on KMOV channel 4} right after the Nate Show because I'll be a guest on there as well. Live TV is going to be very intimidating but ever so exciting!

Have a splendid little Tuesday. : D

xoxo

Congrats girl - the video is great! I love hearing about all of the pieces in the room and the story behind them. You are also an inspiration to me of what can be done on a small budget! :)

Loved the video, you are so cute!
Little tidbit about the "Keep calm and carry on" poster - it was originally designed and intended to be posted everywhere if Germany invaded and took over England, but thankfully they never needed to actually print and use the design!

Not to sound like a creepster, but you have a really nice voice. I watch videos from other blogs and there are times when the magic is ruined because they are much better in blog. I was happily relived; you are awesome on video.

I really like the keep calm and carry on print.....I need to search etsy now.

Joi - you deserve all of this and more. Not only are you more talented than most people I "know," you are kind and sweet as well. Not often do you find folks like that, but you are a genuine article. Soak it up!
