Plate Wall Additions

This weekend David and I had a nice little date night which included stops at The Container Store, California Pizza Kitchen, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie! We ended the night with some tasty custard at Culver's where I indulged in their bananas foster sundae. I l-o-v-e it. It's not on the menu at my Culver's, but ask for it and they may have it. : )

I originally went to the Container Store for a specific item {that I'll blog about very soon} but also came across these great little plate hangers!

When I first hung my plates on the wall, I had used some just like these ones which I ordered online from here. But I am so happy to see them in a physical store! They work great and are holding all of my plates on our plate wall quite nicely.

All you have to do is wet the back of the hanger, let them sit for 5-10 minutes to get tacky, adhere them to the plate, wait overnight to let them cure, and then finally they're ready to hang!

I'm loving my new additions to the wall and don't know if I'm done adding to it or not...we shall see.

I've used the Disc Hangers for my plate collection in my bedroom and they work great.
My collection is hung on a limited sized wall and hung very symetrical. So even though I keep seeing plates I would love to have, I can't add anymore to my collection.
I love the way you've hung yours. I think you can just keep adding since they are hung very random. Lucky you!

Your collection is coming along nicely, and I love the disc hangers...so much better than that wire thing that I still use from time to time :)

Looks great! I've decided that I'm doing a plate wall in my dining room, so I'm just starting my hunting. So excited!

Good find! I don't like the looks of those standard plate hangers. And no holes, either! I might have to order some.

The collection is SMASHING my dear! I FINALLY embraced my magnolia plates and hung them in our bedroom. I don't know why a mere plate intimidated me so much.

Congrats to your sister!!! How exciting.

And thank you for welcoming me back to blog world....I miss it...juts need to MAKE time for it.

Cheers~

I love your plate wall! And Culver's is the best (frozen custard; butter burgers)! I never knew they had a banana foster sundae! Sadly, we don't have Culver's in Houston. My waistline is thankful though!

It looks SO great Joi! Makes me wish I had a plate wall too!

Your plate wall is so awesome! I recently treated myself to the Culvers bananas foster flavor of custard, and it is quite like a sundae without really being one. I will have to ask for it in the future!

Love love love! Perfect combo of colors. Is that an IKEA light fixture? Chris and I just bought the FILLSTA light to replace an ugly brass one above our dining room table and I have no idea how to switch the things out. I think I'll have to do some googling.

Love your plate wall - it's so great! You have such a happy style. Oh and how I wish I could stop by a Culver's for a lovely desert, but I'm too far away. I love their oreo concretes, but would take anything. My brother worked the drive through at the one near their house in High School!
