First Day of School Fashion

Every year on the first day of school my mom used to take my picture. I think this is a ritual for most children and I have continued the tradition through my teaching years, too.

Say hello to year number 7 for me! I can't believe I've been in this career this long already!

Dress: JCPenney
Cardigan: Target
Shoes: Payless

Congratulations on 7 years of teaching!! I appreciate your dedication, but I want to get to the good part...those shoes, Payless, REALLY? Those are fabulous. I'm going to have to check to see if they carry them here in Dallas.

I like this tradition so whenever I get my first classroom, I'm stealing it ;)

I'm armed with a $10 off coupon and heading to Penney's tonight! This dress will be perfect for a late summer baby shower I had nothing to wear to - thanks Joi!

Love the outfit. What grade do you teach and do you really keep the heels on all day?

Joi said...

@Rachel Jo-Great! I hope you love it as much as I do.

@Queenbee-I teach highschool and manage to keep my heels on most days. I usually bring a back up pair of shoes if my feet get tired. : )
