I Want To Learn To Knit

If I ever take the time to learn, my first project would be to make a fabulous little striped blanket like A did for D's little Kate.

And it would be these fabulous colors with maybe a little white thrown in the mix as well!

However, my blanket would be for me and not my baby--I'm not pregnant...promise! : )

Ooooo! That blanket is awesome! I just might have to attempt it!

When I had my first daughter I received some hand knit hats as gifts that I fell in love with. I decided if I wanted to keep her in these hand knit hats as she grew, I'd have to learn how.

I asked my husband for a dvd highly recommended on amazon: The Complete Beginner's Guide to Knitting for my birthday back in November 2008: http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Beginners-Guide-Knitting/dp/B000A0P6A4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1272732468&sr=8-1. I can't say enough about this DVD - it's better than having someone show you in person- because you never feel stupid about asking the same thing over and over again. ;) Anyway, I LOVE knitting- it's so therapeutic!

Have a great day!
