I Got My Flippy Floppies

Any SNL/Andy Samberg fans out there that would recognize that blog post title? "I'm on a boat man, I'm goin' fast man..." LOVE it.

Anyhoo, I am infatuated with my flip flops of choice. I buy multiple pairs of these particular black Teva sandals every year...no joke. It is true what they say, these babies mold to the shape of your foot. I know they're not my most stylish option, but they are like heaven on my footsies.
Sometimes, when I wear other shoes, I get really bad arch pains and it feels like my arch is ripping...not pleasant. Even tennis shoes bring me this type of ache. However, my trusty Teva's never let me down.

Now I'm just contemplating on wearing them in Spain in a couple weeks. I know we'll be walking non-stop and I really wonder if my flip flops are going to cut it. I know I can count on their comfort, but how about their practicality?

I'm looking for some other options, too. I'm mainly looking at the Teva brand because I love the way they fit my feet. Both of the ones below are Teva brand and have received great reviews about their comfort and durability with hiking and walking.Anyone have any fabulous recommendations? I'd love to hear 'em!

xoxo

Perks to flops:
1. Cooler (temp wise)
2. Less to pack
3. Can easily dress them up
4. Can take them off anytime
Okay even though I know I am a tourist, and the camera in had totally gives it away, plus somehow people already know before I even speak...I try hard not to wear tennis shoes (or fannybags). So i would totally go for the flops. I really like the last pair- super cute. I backpacked Europe last summer and wore flops the whole trip. Hope my novel of a post helps! :)

I own 1Teva Mush flip flops as well and i can honestly tell you that they are the most comfortable flips I've ever wore. They beat up all the Old Navy ones.
As for prices.. well, i see that they are a bit more expensive in US now, but i bought them from a store in here, in Germany, for only 9.99 euros on their last year sale. SCORE!! Now, this year I'm starting the summer having them brand new at a super price right?:)

Hope you'll have a blast in Spain! Where exactly are you traveling?

Ok, I am going this week to try some of these babies on! I think you should wear them in Spain, let me know how it goes, then I will decide whether or not to wear them in Greece! Haha! I like the look of the last ones...they are cutsie!

I work w/ a bunch of physical therapists here in CO (land of hard core hikers) and they swear by Chacos! I finally broke down and bought a pair (I'm practically flat-footed, meaning I pretty much have no arch). They're amazing--lightweight and provides tons of support!!

But the PT's also highly recommend Teva's too.

I used to have a pair of the ones in the middle photo. They were comfy, but gave me blisters every time I broke them out after a while of not wearing them. Could be dangerous on a trip!

I agree about the Chacos! They'll mold to your feet, too, and are definitely more durable than the Teva flops.
