Bargain Damask Finds!

We went shopping this weekend in search of a battery operated mega-phone for my class, but didn't find anything of the sort! Looks like I'm going to have to order it off eBay because that's the only place I've been able to spot something even vaguely close to what I'm looking for! I need it because we're on the travel chapter in class and we're doing a simulated airport scene on Friday! This idea was not mine and I give all credit to my best friend, and buddy blogger, Melissa!

Anyhoo, I did find some cute damask print items at a couple of places. It was certainly not my intent but they were calling my name.

First, I found a pack of 12 black and white damask, stripe, and houndstooth patterned file folders at Wal-Mart for only $5! They are extremely heavy duty with a plastic coating on them. These may be from Wal-Mart, but their quality seems top notch!

Then at Sears, I found a pink and white damask serving bowl and a set of 4 of plates for less than $10!
