You smell it too? Well, I'll let you in on a little secret---it's my new gift Dave got for me this weekend. Ta-da!
It's the Lomography Fish Eye camera that I've wanted forever. It's fun, funky, old school, and super chic! While were at Art Mart this Saturday picking up a stretcher board for my homemade headboard I'm about to make {details and post to come soon}, I spotted this little camera at check out. I picked it up ooohhed and ahhhed at it and then put it back down. Dave was paying and said "Jo, just get it---you've wanted it forever..." I'll tell you this, I didn't put up much of a fight.
I've been experimenting with it a little here and there today and don't know what to expect. Digital cameras have spoiled me and it's so weird not to be able to see the image immediately after snapping it. But it also adds that air of excitement to when you get to pick up your pics and you never know what's waiting for you! So far, Niko Harper and David have been my victims of random photo shoots. Who knows how the pics will turn out, but I'm super excited to play around with my new toy.
This camera will have to do until I get a fancy DSLR plus a fish eye lense to accompany it!

I love how retro-sleek it looks.
