We Raced for the Cure!

We left for the StL around 8:15 a.m. via MetroLink and headed downtown to start the race or "fun walk" as it's called for the non-runners! It was a very hot day, but a fun one. I can't explain the feeling you get when you see all these people {young, old, survivors, men, women, children} all pulling together to help raise awareness for the need to find a cure for breast cancer! It's extremely emotional and now so close to the heart because of Maw Maw. Enjoy some of my pics from the day! I hope all of you get the chance to go one day!

Joi- I'm proud of you and your family for doing this. It looks like an amazing day and I do intend to do this next year. Mawmaw looks gorgeous and she should be very proud that the has enough strength to get up and do this in the middle of chemo! She's quite a gal!
