Last Day.

The day that I never thought would actually come, came. I am no longer an employee of EHS. I feel sad because it's all I've ever known. I did my student teaching there and this was the end of my fourth year. It seems as if I'm on a 4 year change-over: highschool took 4 years, then college was 4 years, and now my recent teaching experience also lasted 4 years...hmmm, could this be a trend? Throughout today I found it extremely difficult to acknowledge that I would never be back. Teaching is not like a normal job, when you decide to switch schools {in regard to normal circumstances} everyone else is also packing up and saying good-bye for the summer. I assume in another job it feels more "real" because you leave while everyone else stays. So, I think everything won't hit me completely until the school year is ready to start and I head to a different school. I developed so many great friends at EHS, but none greater than Melissa and Jeannie. These two girls have been my rocks through the good and the bad and I am going to miss them terribly. Everything that Melissa said in her post {here}, I extend right back at her!

Love ya girl. It hit me when I was walking out with you for the last time. We won't ever get to do that again :(
